FAQ
No. Research shows AI-writing “detectors” are unreliable and biased. Artefakt never returns a binary AI/human verdict. Instead, we provide originality evidence, AI pattern signals, and revision context so humans can make fair decisions. Our AI patterns are similarity matches with how an AI would write the same paragraph of text.
Traditional tools only evaluate the final submission of an assignment and make assumptions based on that. With tools like GenAI that becomes increasingly harder. Artefakt aims to support throughout the learner's process, creating better transparency between learners and educators, enabling better feedback and reducing false-positives. Our cross-revision text-matching and analysis is only the first step on that journey.
Yes. Artefakt isn’t just for compliance; it helps instructors understand how students develop their work over time — improving feedback, writing instruction, and course design.
Artefakt integrates with Google Classroom™ (via official Add-on), and very soon any LMS supporting LTI 1.3 / LTI Advantage, such as Canvas, Moodle, or Blackboard.
No. Our goal is to enhance your existing workflows, not replace them. Artefakt embeds directly into your LMS or Google Classroom™ environment so educators can review, comment, and assess as usual — with added originality and process insights.
